Comment contest
We’re going to have a comment contest here and at Shadow Stocks — one contest, two blogs.
First the prizes, and then the rules.
Prizes
1st Prize will be a $50 gift certificate to McCormick & Schmick’s. I think the gift certificate is actually good at some of the other restaurants in the M&S organization as well.
2nd Prize will be a pair of movie ticket vouchers, good anytime for tickets at most of the big American movie chains.
3rd Prize will be this McCormick & Schmick’s cookbook.

How this will work:
Step 1): Get a Disqus profile. It takes a minute, and it’s free. You can remain pseudonymous, if you like (though I’ll need an address to mail you your prize if you win). N.B.: you can comment here without a Disqus profile, but you won’t be able to participate in the contest.
Step 2): Leave intelligent comments, here and on Shadow Stocks.
Step 3): Click the “like” button on any comment here you find intelligent.
Rules:
1) We add up the “likes” you have earned here and on Shadow Stocks.
2) Whoever has the most likes on 2/26/2010 wins.
3) If you are posting from outside the U.S., and you win, I may substitute locally feasible prizes of similar value.
4) No purchase necessary, void where prohibited, etc.
